I will be conducting a free writing workshop called "Bringing Local History to Life" at the Kensington Park Library on Saturday, Mar. 17, 2018, from 2:15 to 3:30. The program that day, called "All the Write Stuff," features several other authors. All of us will be featured writers at Kensington's Day of the Book celebration. Workshop space is limited, so if you're interested, I would suggest that you sign up ASAP. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080949a9ab2eabff2-allthe. Hope to see you there!

Gasoline Alley was the subject of John Kelly's recent Washington Post column (Dec. 26, 2017). John came up to Kensington on a frigid day recently and interviewed me and Paul Osmond in the Alley. We showed him the former location of Modifications Unlimited. Check out John's fine article here: http://wapo.st/2BNJBu9
For Christmas Delivery, you must place your Priority Mail order by December 19 or your Priority Mail Express order by December 22. Thanks!
My thanks go out to the Kensington Historical Society and the Town of Kensington for hosting my presentation on Oct. 3. We had a great crowd of hot rod fans both young and old.We even had some members of the Silver Spring Ram Rods, the DC Dragons, and the Synchronizers hot rod clubs on hand. There was so much excitement about the Alley and so much car talk after the presentation that we had to be reminded that the building was closing! Did we start the buzz that will eventually result in the Alley getting some official recognition? We hope...
